Security System Conversion

Client REQUEST

USP was in the process of evaluating their campus security systems. The legacy access control system was at end of life and needed to be replaced with a modern solution. In addition, the video surveillance system was antiquated and did not provide adequate coverage of the facility. USP requested development of a Request for Proposal (RFP) to present to multiple security contractors for bid.

SOLUTION

Theseus developed the specifications and drawings for the entire security solution to include access control and video surveillance. Specifications, drawings, a preventative maintenance agreement, intrusion detection system monitoring, ongoing maintenance and repair, and a bid price sheet were compiled into the RFP.

RESULTS

The project was completed per specifications with Theseus acting as the owner's representative. The system was modernized from disparate systems to an integrated, single pane of glass platform in order to streamline operations.
